Driving up from Willunga for the Back to Georgetown weekend today. On the northern expressway with the cruise control tuned to 111kph on the satnav in the forrester. 1/4 mile ahead spied a familiar shape. “That’s an FC up ahead” said to wife. Gleaming light grey roof, boot and upper rear quarters, darker bonnet, guards and lower sides. Nice stance, spats and original caps. Club sticker on back window and two bods in club shirts inside.

SA club annual show and shine was held Saturday. You spied one of member cars on their way to or from our Semaphore meet. Pics can be found on our SA club Facebook page. 14 cars attended on the day.

Thanks fellas. That could be it Jeff though no spats in that photo. Car was headed home Nuri way. Always a pleasure to spot one out on the highway and makes me happy I can still pick a model from a good distance. Cheers Clay

Yeah we’ll stand corrected. I do have my glasses on but the images I see are quite low resolution like three pixels to a side on spat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Love that tractor. A big squirt of ether, and keep your thumb out of the way of the crank handle . Cheers, Harv

Exactly right Harv. It helps if you turn the ignition on too as the boys eventually realised.

Yeah and vintage cars can break your thumb also if you don’t have the thumb on the same side as the fingers when cranking

Not sure what you mean about “will be” as the Gawler to Waterloo Corner section was completed several years ago. Me think you a bot.
