I want to replace the front 1/4 vent glass how is the old glass removed then replaced ... Thanks

You want to take the glass out from the frame?
(Richard will post in about five minutes with a Game of Thrones reference)

Remove the quarter window assembly from the door, and remove the old seal, because it will go all oozy when you do this -
preheat the oven to 160 C, put the quarter window in the oven for half an hour or so.
Clamp the glass in a vice between a couple of pieces of softwood, and wearing leather gloves, gently ease the frame off the glass.

Thanks rob yes that’s what I want to do was thinking of using a heat gun never thought of the oven
