Hi Everyone .. Our FC holden has been sitting under wraps for a while now and it is time to sell it and let someone else have the fun of driving it ..Granite Grey with ivory.
We have had the car for about 7 years, it had 2 previous owner prior to that, the original owner purchased the car in 1958 and fastidiously looked after it and kept a log book of every service, oil change, and any maintenance that he did to the car..the next owner had a local car museum at Victor Harbor and it stayed undercover for the time he had it, except for a Bay to Birdwood and an Old Fashioned Picnic day run..
It has travelled an original 53, 492  miles from new and drives like a new car.
When we purchased the FC it had some very minor dust and storage damage to the paint work, so we decided to give it a bare metal respray on the outside of the car, and door interiors.
It has had all the exterior chrome redone by A Class chrome platers, and all stainless trim polished, new door rubbers, and bailey channels, new master cylinders all wheel cylinders stainless sleeved.

When the original owner purchased the car in 1958 he had the complete car under sprayed in a thick bituminous paint which is still intact and prevented any rust from starting in the usual places .. The car has no rust, and has never had any rust ..

Nothing to spend, just get in and drive.. $30,000
Unfortunately I am having trouble inserting images, but if anyone is interested please message me and I will email photos.
Regards
Stephen

On the drivers side of the front seat it has a yellow look to it at the bottom of the photo. this is just sunlight reflection and it is the same vibrant red as the rest of the seat.

In  addition to the above phone number I can be contacted by email at vidastephen@outlook.com, and the car is located in Victor Harbor, South Australia  ..
Transport can be arranged to any state and  RAA inspection prior to purchase can be arranged..
If any other information required please do not hesitate to ask.

I have had a couple of calls about the cars interior, ....and Yes it is all 100 percent original except for the FC radio which I added a few years ago, which I put in but never got around to connecting to the battery.
The interior is as it left the factory in 1958, all we did was give it a wipe over with a cleaner .. the seats, floor mats, headlining dashboard are as it left the factory ..
The original owner was so fastidious about the car he would not let anyone sit in the back seat, and that was until 1990 when he sold the car, The ashtrays have never been used to butt a cigarette out.
The car has the original engine and has never been reconditioned or replaced same for gearbox and diff.
Excellent matching numbers car from the day it was purchased.

That's a bit sad I think but if the time has come, then good for you.
