Hi Folks,
Can anyone offer me advice on installing seatbelts into an FE ute?
Are there any existing point that I can mount them?? I would assume not.
Does anyone manufacture a kit that has pre-fabricated mounting point to weld in- or do i need to make them myself?
I am located in Melbourne.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mal, answers to the best of my knowledge as follows;
A)  No
B)  Not that I know of - you will have to make them yourself.  The rules are the same for all seatbelt attaching points.  75mm x 50mm x 2mm plate with rounded corners. Nut should be attached to the plate and the plate attached to the rear of the panel.
With a ute you have the choice of mounting the retractor on the parcel shelf or on the floor like you would in a sedan.

Cheers Ken,
Do you(or anyone else) know if the Vic FE/FC Club will have a stand at the Holden/Ford show this coming weekend at the Exhibition Center in Melbourne?
I am interested in joining the club, and have heaps of questions on re-building my FE ute.
Cheers-
