Hi all. Been thinking for a while about some paint mods to the EK
( sorry all, but it's close enough isn't it??) - either flames or scallops - not sure which, anyhow, I was looking at using white paint (the car colour is parisian mauve - a light lavender) so to giva a sort of ghost effect. The paint is in quite good condition.

As i have never painted a car in my life, I was wondering if I should even attempt it, and if so, what the best way of going about it would be. I hear that 3M masking tape is the business for smooth clean lines?Huh?!!!!

I'm not after anything near show quality, but want the look of a 50s custom/rat-rod - all done on the cheap so to speak.
So if anyone can provide some much sort after information, It'd be much appreciated.
cheers,
Lucky

Grab an old door/gaurd /panel off anything and have a practice, that way you can't stuff anything up and will learn a lot on the way!
