Gday all,

I had some free time yesterday to deal with leaking rear gearbox seal and the diff oil leak from the housing.

I had been reading on this forum about the high ratio 3.89 diff centres and to my surprise my FC has been installed with a 3.36 diff  Grin



A lot of work and thought has been put into this FC when it was rebuilt, with the exception of the wrong rear gearbox seal installed.

The next task will be to either replace a few weeping wheel cylinders or just put new cups inside that I have noticed both front and rear.

I used Penrite oil for the trans and diff defiantly feels better in the shifting.

Tim,

If you don't mind some un-asked-for advice -

Get your wheel cylinders re-sleeved with stainless steel.  They won't leak, and they won't seize.

Remember: if your Holden's not leaking oil, it doesn't have any.

Thanks for the info.... google search and Quick Speed Nambour will resleeve the cylinders in stainless, new rubber cups, machine the drums and rebond thebrake shoes.
