Sealing a new floor

Hi all

Just wanting opinions on sealing the floor pans and seams. After grinding the floor I was thinking of brushing on epoxy undercoat then sealing over with the black stuff. Some say you can go over bare metal, but even with rust repair I would still prefer to do an undercoat first. There's different opinions as to when to do it.

Deano the easy solution might be to use POR 15. It prefers the metal to be bare. Sets like concrete.

I suppose a blasted surface would be ideal hey.

Deano, there is an Aussie one called Kph I think, does the same job as por15 but is cheaper and made in Aus. I know it is available from Wisharts in Unanderra.Paint it on then use stone guard, fills all the holes and seams and you can paint over it if you wish.

Yeah thanks. I want the option of painting over or using a flap wheel to add brackets later without having too much of a hard surface.
