I have the rear tailgate emblem back from getting re chromed.
What is the correct paint to use for the red surround of the lion and the black lettering please.

I reckon australian standard "signal red" is close to original

It's a custom ute- why the standard colour?
I'd see how the colour you painted the ute looks in there.
Same can't be said if your car was say blue. I think that'd be odd.

I used the same as the hubcaps. Holden Marinello Red and Killrust gloss Black.

I sprayed the shit out of mine and then wiped the top with thinners so I had it all in the corners
