Hi all,

I've obtained a front bonnet chrome piece and the holden side front panel pieces that I would like to get re chromed before putting them on my fe ute. I'm located in adelaide and wanting to know of a good restorer that I can approach. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also due to my lack of tools, space and knowledge I am wanting to get assistance on being able to put the pieces on the vehicle. Is there someone in adelaide that could help? Or should take the pieces to a classic car restorer and get them to put them on?   The reason I ask this is cause the holes have all been patched up on the body and would need to be re drilled and fitted?

Any suggestions would be great as I'm not a mechanic or restorer of any kind.

Regards stuey

Stuey, most would suggest A class metal finishers at Lonsdale they are good with cast pieces but sit down when getting price as its not cheap. As far as fitting your pieces iv'e sent you a PM. I have parts here that can be used as templates.

cheers

Thanks everyone. Yeah the mount is a little bit far for me and the ute at this stage.

I have been in contact with Greg from a class and will head out and see him when I get a spare 5 mins.

Thanks again. Stuey

Steve from the Mount gets all his chrome done in Melbourne at Vinnies.

I have used A Class Metal at Lonsdale and am very happy with the results. They are excellent for rechroming cast stuff as well.
