If I fit an electric wiper motor (EK?) rather than the original vacuum motor, does it fit directly to the existing auxillary drive assembly, or are a lot of modifications required?

Phil,
The biggest modification is the switch on the dash and wiring - everything else is identical.  If you're interested Ken McLean ken@vic.fefcholden.org.au does modified EK wiper motors as two-speed units - hey, in for a penny...
