Trim holes

Could someone with a wagon please let me know the measurements for the holes for the rear quarter stainless trim starting from the rear door frame back, some moron (namely me) bogged over them and i can't see where some of them are from the inside.

     from rear door  hole one   250mm
                          hole two  486mm
                                three  752mm
                                 four  980mm
                                 five  1095mm

Pedro, just looked at the old wagon, still has the old clips in place on both sides. The measurements are the same on both sides, but the back two holes are 5mm to take the bolts where the rest are only screw in clips with self tappers.

I just noticed that Greg has only given 5 hole spacings, my wagon has six.
from the back door- 250mm-486mm-690mm-830mm-980mm & 1095mm both sides

Thanks Jim, I'll take the measurements over to the painter in the morning, one more problem crossed off the list I'm starting to feel like i'm getting somewhere at last

All the best mate, I am also starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. Do you have the clips or are you going to bolt them in.

Bummer, at least we know the outside ones are right as you both have the same measurements, the trouble is the middle ones are the most important as they are the ones i can't see behind the wheel arches, oh well plenty of time yet let's see if someone can come up with a third different set of no's , I bought a full clip set about three years ago when i bought my rubber kit Jim, can't wait to get to the stage where i'm using those clips.

Hey Pedro, just did a bit of detective work, look back on your build site, p.3 shows rh rear side with what looks like 7 holes & p9 shows the lh rear from filler back with 4 holes & clearly show the two larger holes at the back with the smaller holes in front of them, Also, I had a look at the clips they are a two sided spring type clip that the mould just pushes over. The shots on p3 will give the painter a good idea of the placements.

Next set of numbers as follows:  Drivers side  245mm-490mm-690mm-830mm-983mm-1098mm
                                       Passenger side   245mm-490mm-690mm-984mm-1100mm

I think from this is that the centres are not really crucial to the end result!

Thanks guys that gives me a pretty good idea of where not to drill, i'm not too worried about finding the old holes i just don't want to start drilling and hit an old hole and make a big mess of it.
