Hi angel57, yes the link works. If you want to show the pix directly on the site here, open up photobucket in another window. Copy the IMG link at the bottom right when you're viewing a single image, and paste it into a message here. It will look like this: ... and behave like this: Looks like a nice project you've got there. Best of luck with it. cheers RET

nice looking car, your number tell it to be castle grey over etna maroon with fall red & parchment ivory trim. I also noticed in the photos you have taken the centres out of the dragways. I am trying to do the same with no luck, what is the secret? Regards Jim

Hi Angel - my first FE was the same colour.
re the body number FE 225 30782 - there should be a letter such as A or S or M after it not 703. Can you check to see please If it is as you say I would like a pic because it is unusual
Engine number is on a machined plate just forward of the distributor locking bolt Chassis number is on the drivers side skirt in the engine bay about half way along - yours probably starts with 7 or 8

Hi Ken, My name is Jason, I took some more photos for you to look at. They aren't the best but they are something. The link is: http://s1280.beta.photobucket.com/user/MIWRicky/library/FE%20Holden?Fe Holden's are great. I've owned this car for about 5 years. I like how it is very original, untouched. A true survivor from a past generation. Looking forward to many generations to come. Angel 57

Jason, just had a closer look at the photos, as Ken said, the engine number is on the face plate just in front of the distributer. This number with all your other info will give you the details. I also noticed the photo of the yellow wax marker in the engine bay, they are the colours of the car. You need to enter you details at the start under the map is the tech. info section as I said before, click on that and then go to decode your id tag. You need to put in all the info you have from the photos as described and it will give you want. Again your chassis number ends with A which means it's an Adelaide car. Hope all this helps, Jim

Hi and welcome Jason, You have come to the right place for info on a great Forum. My FE station sedan has the colours written on the firewall as well as shown in the picture below The colours of my wagon are "Teal" blue (roof) over "Breton" blue (body) As Jim has described. yours should read "Castle" and "Etna" Ask as many questions as you like. Cheers Stewy

Just had a better look at the photos - I think chassis number is 7-11821-B which means a 1957 sedan with body made in Adelaide and assembled in Brisbane. My Etna Maroon and Castle Grey car also had the FC tail fins - quite a few FE's were fitted with them by dealers
