Hi guys , please help , I had rods racks modify my steering column for my fc . I have tried installing it recently and found that the inner shaft is too short.the steering wheel goes on but there's not enough thread left to put the retaining nut on ...
Has anybody else encounter this problem ?
Thanks,
Shannon.

Shannon

I also had the same problem and Rod advised to drill out the rivets and there is still a further 10-15mm available.

You need to tap the inner shaft a littel further out then redrill the holes into the inner shaft the re-rivet.

Hope this helps.

Regards
