Approximately 900 FE business sedans were made in Melbourne - I have details of FE-217-35-M which is also Frankston cream - It has chassis no 6-10000-M (yes, how weird is that, exactly 10000) It has rego number GOT 821 dated 17-1-1957 and engine number L 321007

Yours should be around these numbers.

The highest number I have recorded is FE-217-805-M which is a 1958 model near the end of the FE run - It is Frankston cream as well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fitted a full set of Obselete Rubber mats to my FC recently.  Very happy with the fitting and looks.
You can see mine on this link.  http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.php/topic,20799.0.html
