Hi guys,
Car is difficult to start when hot.Car runs generaly well, minor surging when decelerating.

If it is an electrical hard start then it is the coil, Fuel hard start is probably down to vapourising

Graham,

A few things to work through:
Idle tube blocked (or idle restrictor wire missing for EH and later carbs)
Fuel level too high
Idle vent valve not set right (BXUV-2, BXV-2 and WW carburettors only)
Float chamber baffle plate absent (HR 186S engines only)
