I just fitted a new water pump (from Rares) and wondering if the old water pump is worth repairing to keep as a spare.   Grin

The reason for fitting a new water pump was because the old one was leaking through the seal.  Now it's off the car it looks to be in good condition.

If it's worth repairing ....... where in Melbourne (South Eastern suburbs)?

I was talking to a parts supplier/ engineering works today.  The question on water pumps came up.  He said he repairs heaps of all different water pumps and has never came across a water pump he cannot repair.
