Hi all,
Its been a long time since I was on here and wholly SH!t FEVANV6 has a mamoth build.
Anyway, thought I'd do the polite thing and say hi Wink.

Still got the old girl but picked up a T boned VT V6. Finally going to attempt the swap. I want to run ecotec motor and standard box with VT brakes and wheels all round. Hopefully use the Air con, Heater and Wiper motor too. Somehow I'd like to keep the front bench seat Huh
Also picked up a HR front end so I have most of what I need.

Awesome thread on the commodore wiper motor conversion too!! Just need one on mounting the heater demister etc under the dash and making the gear box tunnel fit with the bench seat and shifter.

Still need HR springs, EJ outrigger, early commodore steer rack/colomn, stb axles to run the VT discs and a commodore diff (this one blew up Angry).

RET, your car is missing. Hope the avatar doesn't match the garage!!

Thanks also RE the VT FEVANV6. Don't happen to know the best way to mount the heater and air con gear under the dash?

Just found springs and outrigger too!!

Wonder if i can just cut the gearbox tunnel out and use it too.

Cheers

Nah, we're still a 2 FE family here, no change on that score you'll be pleased to know.

The little cloud car is a whole 'nother story.

I'm pretty sure I've seen pics of how the a/c was mounted in Jason's van build thread, but he might have different ideas this time around.

cheers
