Looking for selector shaft seal for grey motor '57 FE. I believe GMH part numbers are 7400255 and 7403035. Oil is leaking from under dust cover at a rapid pace. GMH workshop manual does give instructions on how to remove the seal, but I've tried all avenues over here to obtain one without any success. Any help would be appreciated as to where I can obtain one.

The original seal is a bevel shaped cork component. Not available to my knowledge. I have had success using an O ring in place of the cork seal. If you remove the cast iron housing that holds the seal you can take this to O ring suppliers to find the best fitting solution.
