I am having a little bit of a problem fitting this channel.  I may have it correct but not quite sure.  When fitted the right angle support half way up the channel does not come up tight up against bottom of the channel holding the weather strip (rubber seal).  It is about 1/8" below this. The weather strip channel can go no lower and is sitting on the support on the door.  Likewise the division channel can go no higher as it is tight up against the edge of the weather strip channel at the top.  The order I assembled the bits are firstly the rain deflector followed by the top bracket of the division channel then the weather strip channel.

Am I correct in thinking that the division channel at the bottom side of the window should screw up tight to the weather strip channel?  If only the division channel could go up a little higher then there would be no problem. I can see no order to assemble the parts. I hope all this makes sense. The problem is the same on both sides.

Are the channels the originals? I assume not because there are differences in the doors between the years and the channels often need adjusting to fit correctly

They are the channels are original.  I took them off so I could repaint the car.

All sorted now.  I had the assembly order wrong.  The divider channel goes in first followed by the rain deflector then the weather strip channel - der

Well done Keith  Grin Cheesy

Nothing like a little frustration to bring out the best in all of us.

Must catch up soon as I am looking to get my car into the paint shop and would like to have a chat.

Where abouts are you in relation to Toowoomba?

Cheers
