just took my three FC's to a multistory carpark to avoid flooding (tidal surge) in Townsville. Was going to cost $75 per day per car, booked into motel for $120 a day and cars are in same car park. Go figure.

To all those in FNQ in the path of Yasi.
Keep your heads down and stay safe wishing you guys all the best.
Just heard it's been upgraded to category 5 Shocked with extremely dangerous storm surges. Not good news.
Take care.

Had you paid the car parking fees before you got to the hotel - or did you manage to get them in under the hotel?

As they all say, people are precious, things you can replace...

Glad to hear you and the cars made it through unscathed.
Shame about the parts though, must have been quite an experience.

Paul, only paid for accomadation. Smithy yes quite an experience windows got sucked out of 20th floor and crashed on roof above us. Our water front "the strand" is unrecognizable, trees down everywhere.
Natures wonders never stop, The next day watched a butterfly emerge from its coccoon and checko's getting jiggy on my house windows
