Possibly the most exciting holiday destination in Australia, Queensland’s Gold Coast will host Australia’s very own Diecast Model Expo. The Hotel Grand Chancellor Surfers Paradise will be the venue for this landmark event, to be held on August 5, 6 & 7, 2011.
Australia has a rich culture of motor racing, muscle cars, hot rods and the like. All of these are represented within a full range of diecast scale models made by some of the world’s leading manufacturers.
This event will be fantastic for any motoring enthusiast and a must for any diecast model collector. For three days collectors, manufacturers, distributors and industry peers will come together and indulge in a smorgasbord of diecast models in all scales.

The Diecast Model Expo will also encompass three meal events: a casual Friday night bingo dinner, a Hawaiian Breakfast and a Saturday night Gala Dinner. Each event will also include an exclusive model release, available only to attendees. The organising committee is in discussions with some well-known race car drivers who are expected to be available for signings during these events as well.
