Thought it might be a good idea to have all the different types of Brake Boosters we have on our cars that members with this modification in mind can choose from all in one place to make it easy to compare. SO SHOW US YOUR BOOSTER .......FC427.......

I have an LC/LJ booster and master fitted.
A few firewall mods needed to be made, luckily the booster has a metal spacer so making a template for the new metal on the firewall was easy. I think a clutch master can still be fitted but I haven't tried yet.
I had to cut and reshape a little bit on the inside of the firewall but the original pedal is still used with a custom "adaptor".

The yellow Engine bay is one that I have fitted a XA\XB V8 booster mounted hard to the firewall with a small block Chev and it shows that there is ample room with a V8 with Headers. The second is my Daily driver FC Ute with a VB\VC\VH Commodore V8 Booster mounted on the original mount just shortened, both of these use original pedal and as it shows there is no problems with use of a clutch master cylinder and are a easy modification to performer...  Thanks Alex for your help with the post ..........FC427.........

Top work there Mark.

Here's a pic of my booster set up.
It's an old double diaphragm HK booster.
While not as sleek or sexy as the newer ones, it offers good boost and has plenty of vacuum.  Fit up was a simple mod of the HK bracket and uses HK pushrod.

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

Thanks Mark, the main problem with mine is being a crossflow engine the inlet manifold is in the way but if I can get the booster back far enough it'll have enough clearance, looks like a bigger hole and a shorter bracket will do the trick though.
