Thinking of selling my FC Sedan, what could I realistically expect to get for it?
Needs a full resto, could go either way as there are no irreversible mods ie original floor.
186, 3 speed column, HR front and rear ends.
Rust doesn't seem too bad but I haven't crawled underneath.
Mags won't be going with it (on the wife's ute)
The interior is complete, but needs retrimming.

Read "Man Rules" today.

As an avid watcher of these things I am thinking up to $3000.

Stinky would think around $2500 to $3500 for a complete running car should be no problems and you might get a pleasant surprise if you ebay it  ; that patina is very sort after D Grin Grin ;....FC427.....

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

Sorry Stinky, I didn't even see this till now, I'd say the same as the other guys around $3000, as Mark said though try e-bay people seem to pay more on there, don't worry about about the joke it was in the private section, and anyway we'll still talk to you Roll Eyes Grin Grin.

Stinky.

I viewed and did not post as I did not want to insult you with what I thought was an expected price.

I bought mine that was in running condition except for ceased front brakes for under$1000 with great interior and is relitevley rust free at this stage.  Just the usual in lower doors, and floor pan patches

I expected you were expecting more than that so I let other members answer, as using mine seemed like it was not a fair comparison.

I think if you could get $2000 for it you would be a long way in front.

Sorry if its not what you wanted to hear.

Not insulted at all, just after a realistic guide. Sometimes they go for a song and other times get stupid money. Of course I am after the latter  Grin but as yet undecided whether to sell or not.

Stick it on ebay with a reasonable reserve and if it makes it - let it go!
