Hi all,

I've just been onto Rares in relation to Outer Sill Panels for a FB Holden. Rares no longer do outer sills so I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get them. Any info appreciated.

Cheers Rusty

Recently had a mate get them for his EK from Craig Vane in Qld - the sills and freight were cheaper than what Rares used to sell theirs for.

I have been putting two new sills on me EK. Got them off eBay, think they were $120 each plus $20 postage from Qld to Dandenong Vic. I found two problems with the sills
eBay no 260930067220

1, The profile was overall very close but there was a difference at the bottom flange.
This made it very hard to match the inner & outer sills together.

2. If you look along the sills that are on a car you may see the sill is not straight but covers out at the "B" piller. The new sill being folded are more or less straight.

On the up side, the ones I got were more the long enought.
It was easy to make two plates for the front, where the sub frame boult goes & I was lucky enought to use some of the old sill at the back.
I will try & post some photos soon.

I do have a Rares outer sill for the drivers side if any one intrested. Email me.
