Hello all, I have an original, straight, grey motor sedan special for sale. Her name is Magdeline Brown. She had one owner before me and I've had this baby for 10 years and I am going to sorely miss her as she's been one of the family.

Up until November 06 she was registered and driven all the time, but hasn't been started since.

We spent a year living at Redland Bay and the salt water left her with rust in the usual places, from what I can see she's pretty good underneath, it's in the panels. She also has paint peeling on her bonnet and hood. There is a few dings that a panel beater should be able to get out. Her steering wheel horn broke quite early in our time together, she has the original holden floor mat (though it has a few tears in it, but you should be able to get fixed), original seats, upholstery and hubcaps. Front passenger side interior door panel is not original.

She will make an excellent restoration project. She has not been customised but I did have seatbelts installed, though the back one's don't work any more.

She is well worth an inspection if you are interested. Please note this car is sold in an 'as is' condition and does not come with rego or roadworthy cert.

She is for 'pick-up' only, and I will accept Cash or Bank Cheque only on pick up. If you intend to have her transported this will be at your expense and responsibility.

She's a beaut old girl and I really hate to sell her, but she's just been sitting there for a few years and she makes me sad to see her like this. I wish for someone to love her like we have. Maggie IS worth it.

We are in Beenleigh, QLD.

It's automatic, to everyone but the last poster in the thread, since there's nothing new in it since the last poster looked at it. If someone else replies, you'll see the blue "new" pill.

cheers

Hi people, my darling car has been sold. Thanks for the interest. She went to a nice young man who is an apprentice panel beater and he's going to make this his first restoration project. When she's finished he's going to even pick me up and take me for a little drive. It's nice to know there are people who still want to have an original Holden. Thanks again.
