Not sure if this is what they are called. I am changing front end to HR, have been told this is what I need to weld onto front end.

You are right - widen your search to include FB, EJ and EH.
What state are you in?

If you are in Vic - I would recommend going to Talbot wreckers. I was there a few weeks back and saw an FJ, 15 FE/C/B and EK's about 20 EJ/EH's, 30 HR's and 25 HK/T/G's. Add to this more HQ/J/Z/X's than I could count and you have a treasure trove of early Holden parts available.

There were plenty of front ends available.
