hello all can any one tell me how to wire up a amp gauge for a fj with vl commo. engine and wiring loom.gauge all ready in fj dash. pics. would be good.thanks gary.

dont run alternater through amp meter what you do is the main feed wire that is on starter motor with battery lead the smaller one  not the one from battery cut this wire so you have two ends  one still on starter motor one goes to inside car make these longer to reach gauge one each side of meter if it shows back to front swap leads around so what you are doing is putting meter in this line    hope this is clear enough
