Fired up the FE for the first time in a few weeks and petrol has started to come out of the rubber plunger thing  Huh as marked in the pic. It's a modded 450 Vac Sec, no choke and it has never done this before, it's not a torrent but not a small leak either. Very much a fire hazard.
Easy fix or mechanic needed?

Maybe be a sticky needle and seat, looks like the needle is letting too much fuel into the bowl and is coming out of the breather. Try taking the needle and seat out and cleaning it first. Depending what type of float you have in there also if its plastic or metal float, could have a hole in it and filled up with fuel and no longer floats. After cleaning it try adjusting the needle and seat.

Thanks Sexy, carb was rebuilt about 18mths to 2 yrs ago now so the floats should be OK.
Took the needle and seat out, looked OK, blew it out with air and refitted, no leaks.
the screw and nut holding the needle and seat was a loose when I took it out, could this have been the problem?
