Saturday 27th October 2007 *** Twilight Run ***

Jim Bentley our new Vice President organised a Twilight Run on Saturday 27th October 2007.

We arrived on Sir Donald Bradman Drive just west of West terrace at 4.15pm for a 5pm departure.

We cruised along West Terrace, then onto Anzac Highway to Jetty rd Glenelg.
We cruised along the beach to Henley Beach and onto Semaphore then back to Port Adelaide. Then to Port Road, North terrace, Rundle Street and back along Anzac Highway where we finish at Jim & Andrea's Home for 50's Style BBQ Hamburgers supplied by the Club.

We had a good turn out of cars considering the dust storm and rain.
My car is now looking worse than before i washed it and i am sure there will be more washing Today.

This was a great opportunity for newer club members to get acquainted with the new Vice President Jim Bentley and wife Andrea.

Well organised event thanks to all for attending.
Sorry to those who joined the run late as i did not get a photo to load here.

The photo's

Thanks
Paul Roberts

One of the best (and worst weather wise) runs I've been on yet.
We missed the start and lucked upon a few of the lost cars at Glenelg, we all managed to regroup just down the road.
As well as lots of stares, toots and waves it was very gratifying to get the "thumbs-up" from a suit driving a late model Porsche. Then stopped at the lights in the city a bloke congratulated me on my car, didn't stop yakking until the lights had changed.
The weather was a shocker, strong winds blew up the dust then the intermittent rain made for muddy cars  Angry
