Stinky
Thanks for the stat's, I am a little disappointed that I have not made it in to the last stat but hey you can not win them all, looks like no sleep for me on the weekend.

I figure if I log in on Friday night and stay logged on and go through and update all my post add in some photos and so on I should be able to top most lists.

Cheers Jim

I hear ya RET, pity the forum can't measure the quality of the posts, now that would be something.

It probably is, but I haven't yet figured out how.

If it can be done, I will. That ridiculous 617 figure annoys me, too.

Guess what? I figured it out Grin

The old YaBB system had no database, just lots of little (and not so little) files in a series of directories. So if you had an idea where to look you could go around grepping (unix talk for searching) for the text you were looking for.

SMF OTOH has an SQL database to store all this stuff in. As it happens, this little black duck's day job involves being a database administrator, so really, I couldn't let it beat me once I decided I better get to know it better. Cheesy

So I've reset the counter back to 35, which I think was where it was up to at the time HotBot went crazy on the site.

HotBot must have this neck of thar interweb scheduled for Friday visits. Once again, that's the cause of the big jump.

Might have to ban them at an even lower level...

Have been logged on since 1 pm and its nearly midnight, made no difference to my time online. I think it must only register time spent browsing and posting.

I just do not have the same drive or time as I did in the early days to make all those posts and spend all my time online, I have ePay to watch work to do, Rugby League to watch and all that others stuff like washing, ironing, cooking, mow the lawns, wash the cars and any other task the OIC Home Affairs sets for me. You blokes know what its like.

I wander if all this dribble helped my stats.

You must have a competitive streak to want to be top of that list Grin

For what it's worth, it has to be "active" time. Leaving a page open for hours won't make any difference.

I think any time elapsed beyond 5 minutes between clicks doesn't get counted. Iron one shirt, read one page. Repeat  Wink

I thought about RETs suggestion, but I do not iron to often and even when I do it takes me longer than 5 minutes per shirt.
