Thought it was about time to get a photo or two of my 'mystery car' up. The i.d. plate has nothing on it but the GMH part no. for a FE 217 body Angry!!, but the interior is all FE225?
Almost sure it's a December '56 build date (thanks to AOMC engine records). May have been re-birthed in 1961, hence the 217 body.
Car is undergoing a ground up resto (which seems to be taking 4 ever).

The earth is slow but the ox is patient?

Rabbitoh,

That is one of the coolest ID plates I've ever seen, along with the 'SPEC' cars and the Army/Postal cars!!!

I've also seen an XU1 with a plate that just says 'PRIME'. Was a new body ftted to all the mechancals from Colin Bonds written off race car.

Anyone else got a wierd/different ID plate?

Cheers,

Craig.
