Rodz Rock n Roll Event is happening

26 MAY 2007 and is 12 till 9pm with an expected 200 early model cars. Its at the Pine Rivers Park, Gympie Road Strathpine.

I'm hoping to be there after work round 4 and maybe if the FC is running....

l can highly recomend this event, we went last year & had a blast. The car show is very laid back, had a lot of different cars too, which is always a breath of fresh air.
Then at around 5:00-ish everyone grabs their blankets & heads over to the music stage for a night of rock n roll.
Bloody good event,l think they have fireworks a bit later on too,we didnt stay-Banyo swap is the next day! Wink

Cheers RE car mate. good for a really low budget but I'd love my engine bay to be filled with the same motor as yours!

I tried to have mine ready for this show but I have a new job and thus alot of focus has been taken from the FC...

l can remember the days (only just)when my car was a budget build too! With the sideplate motor, twin strommies & extractors, but hey! ya gotta start somewhere. Most of the build this time round wasfunded by selling the old drivetrain from the Fc & selling my beloved HG V8 ute with all the prem/brougham/GTS bits.
My mate's bringing his Fc to the show too, a FC wagon-very,very nice car.Hope to see you there.   Daz

After watching GRUNT FILES on briz31 (WED and THUR nights) I begged the misses to let me just go
"F" it I'm getting a 350 stroker. She told me what to stroke...  Good show by the way

I got there around 20 to 5 and cars had already started leaving. So I was disappointed as a couple of FC's had already left.
Good show on later, was really impressed with ELVIS. the bloke did a fantastic job.
Pity there was a bloke smoking whilst serving kids on the jumping castle. I let him have it.
