Found this pic in a book at a swap meet
RAC sedan still with city plates taken during 1957 on delivery to Geraldton about 4 hours north of Perth.
Strange reflectors under the headlights along with the newish black and white plates

Could those reflectors be RAC logos?  It's a bit hard to tell at screen resolution, but they look a bit like that shape with the crown on top.

The dark coloured rims are unusual, too.

I am with RET they are RAC stickers or some such under the headlights.Interesting with the dark rims as well.
