My brother dropped me off one of those little handheld blowtorches the other day and I've been using it to soften up/burn the paint on a door I'm stripping.

Works really well if you then hit it with the wire wheel, just gotta keep the heat moving. Grin

this is how i got all the sound dedener/tar off the under bodie! however i prob wouldnt do it on a panel :-/
its also a good way to claen the old glue and rubber out of the grooves where the rubbers go. Grin
