Just missed one on ebay...... my own fault forgot about it.  Anyhow I need a cable shifter (hurst etc) to suit a trimatic if anyone can help

I dont have one but if you need to finnish your floor and you want to weld on a box to mount the shifter to I can give you a pic and measurements becuase from what I have seen hurst and b&m have the mounting holes in the same spot.

I am waiting for some guy to put a transmission on ebay, it has a pro matic 2 with it like mine, if i get it I was going to sell the shifter for $100 to cover the cost of picking it up.

I reckon a colum shift would be cool but the hurst and b&m work reliable and are easy to fit once you have a mounting point and probably cost the same as the colum set up.

Thanks for the info leon, I purchased a promatic setup with cable and bracket for trimatic.  Cant wait to get it as gearbox and shifter will go in asap with swan type shifter to be fabricated.  Harko, get yr arse back on here as i will need some advice soon as i will be going into no-mans land..............  cheers
