Just got word that Australia Post is set to release a series of stamps on August 15th called "Driving through the years". There are 5 cars featured in the series, a TT Ford, Mini, Sandman, Land Rover..... and an FE...!!

I believe the usual range of mini booklets that go with new stamps will also be available...... Something to look out for!!

It's definitely real - you can find it in the Stamp Bulletin here.

And many people will be pleased to know there is another non-grey FE in the presentation (first day cover) version.

Is it only me that thinks the FE on the stamp is two tone... biege with a lighter roof colour perhaps.

Splurge and buy the little booklet version: $10.95

It's really well put together, with a lot of great background info, and if you get really desperate, there is $10 worth of stamps in it Roll Eyes

The wallet pack of FE stamps also has a different image on the cover (the cream/red car shown in the margin of the image above) - the actual stamp image is the one inset in this pic.
