garry,
Reckon I have found a NOS one.  What would it be worth ??   I guess it is new and has never been fitted to a car, i have seen it and i beleive it to be original.

garry,
In a nut shell mate he wants $1000- for it.  It is NOS and its in  a way brand new and never been on  a car, he doesnt care if he never sells it.  He has got 5 others in various nick and I will get those as these things now are just getting wat too hard to come by.  I bought a NOS floor pan for $10- which I thought was pretty good off him.  He has also got a rear NOS door too but he knows wheat FC bits are worth now!!!  They have gone throught tghe roof and will only get more scarce I spose at the end of the day.  If he keeps it for a while he will end up getting what he wants for it I think, cheers

1932/ 1934/ 1936 /1940 Ford guards arent even worth that !
Even EH NOS guards which are way more popular than our humble model have trouble going near that price.

The only type of person who has no trouble stomaching that price is someone who just wants to win "Ive got a NOS guard on my shed wall nerr nerr na nerr nerr" and there is someone like that out there somewhere who might find it or might not.

Give him a couple of week's to come back down to earth ..

I agree, BUT he doesnt care if he sells it or not. Simple as that, regardless how much he wants for it.
