Hi,

I'm looking at doing stuff to the old girl, no not the wife, the FC.  She already has a HR front end and disks on her. We have beefed up the breaking by adding a HQ booster, and rear delimiters.  What I'm looking to find out is what are acceptable modifications if I'm looking to keep the old girl as original as possible.  Has it gone to far already.

Cheers

Asus.

Asus, the mods you have done so far have already put your car into "Modified" class according to the FE/FC Nationals rules.
So I guess if you want to keep the car at least in "Stock" class, then you have gone too far already.

You seem to be contradicting yourself - if you want to keep the car "as original as possible" then it is indeed possible to run an original front end with original brakes.  On the other hand, if you want the upgraded brakes for better street use and driveability (which is quite understandable) then you shouldn't confuse this with trying to keep the car stock.
