Cracked Horn Ring (FE)

Bought a FE horn ring off e-bay and got it home and it was cracked...................probably through aussie post.  Anyhow super glued it back together to no avail.  can anyone suggest something better for 50 year old muck metal???   What a pain in the a*&e.

Can't help with a repair method sorry.

And sorry for my ignorance but are FE horn rings same as FB/EK??......I suspect they are not the same however I have the details of a bloke selling New Old Stock FB/EK Horn rings.I've seen them at a swap meet and they are definately brand new and he had quite a few of them back then (Cessnock Swap N.S.W last August).

FB/EK are dished like the steering wheel.  FE/FC are flat, FE is a full circle, FC only lower half (below arms of steering wheel).
