Heres a pic of  the first FE ute sold in Berri S.A. in 1957

This pic was taken in 1959 when he picked up his new caravan

It came with special stripes and the special script badge and shield on the rear quarter behind the wheel arch which is painted the same colour as the spats

It was loaded up with goodies...sunvisor,venetions radio, spats, number plate eyebrow, bonnet emblem, white walls and tonneau cover.
The spot light was put on later

The original owner is looking up his paperwork to see if he still has the original documents etc from when he bought the Ute...also finding out what the colours were

Nice!!!, It's interesting to see the special moulds on an FE UTE as opposed to an FC UTE, seems more acceptable on the FE.

Looks great with a van behind it too, very practical combination.

Is the owner in the club?

Gary, No he is not a club member or own the ute any longer...he sent it to me because I have an FE Ute
Met him in Bendigo a couple of years ago

He still lives in Adelaide and I will be dropping in to say g'day on the way to Phillip Island ....might even get a few more pics of the ute from his archives...
