Vehicle is an FC Special Station Sedan, the 6,886th manufactured in Adelaide, SA.

The Exterior Trim Code (295) describes this car as Two-Tone: Blaze Red over India Ivory.

The Interior Trim Code  refers to: Riff Red & Black.

The Primary (bonnet, guards) colour is India Ivory (in DUCO Lacquer)

The secondary colour is Blaze Red (in DUCO Lacquer)

The vehicle was assembled during 1958, and was the 17,027th FC (in any bodystyle) assembled in Melbourne, Victoria.

Manufacture date (based on engine number) is April 1959

tests have proven that the final words before a fatal urban car crash are "OH ****"

in a rural car crash they are " Hold my stubby and watch this for skill!"

Nice find, Steve.
If what Darcy has posted regarding the "Database" details are correct, I don't recall seeing one before with that colour scheme. I have seen the ones with the Blaze Red as the primary colour & the cream as the flash, but not the other way around.
I wonder if Ken can shed anymore details.

G'day Steve,

Is that FC wagon for sale at all - preferably the whole lot, or at best the the rolling shell minus the running gear.

Let us know what the story is.

Hooroo,

Alan and Jake
