Pics from a Feb. 1958 Wheels Mag I have of Lou Kingsley's black and white FE, with a Repco Head grey motor of 130bhp.  Top speed about 105mph, 0-60mph in 10.7secs.  1st gear 35mph, 2nd, 70mph.  Good gear!! Mike.

Here is the 2nd pic which obviously didn't fit the first post.   As you can see the car had NSW Reg. BGJ-740.  Someone might be able to track it down??  Mike.

Tried, FCCOOL but thats about the best my old gear will allow me to do.   For some reason the first page came out clearer, but try as I might I cannot duplicate whatever I did with it??   Sorry.  There are another two pages of the article but it would be a waste of time and space as it would not come out any clearer.   I am new to this scanning and posting bit.  The pages in the old Magazine are a bit yellow too.  My scanner is a CanoScanFB320P and using M'soft PictureIt, if anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful.  Thanks.  Mike.

Bump up the DPI, 100DPI at 100% is should be good enough. That's the settings I use for general scanning at home with a crusty old no-name scanner and Microsoft Photo Editor. HTH
