Gday,

Just after some advice regarding a DIY job I have in mind. Could anyone recommend the required bits and pieces to hire/buy if I wanted to do a little spray painting to repair some new year eve's drunken prank.

Basically the roof had some kind of stripper poured on it and is begining to rust away. I thought of preparing and spray painting myself, just the roof. A different colour will be chosen so that their are no issues with colour matching. Car is currently metallic grey all over so I thought a black roof down to the bottom window line on the C pillar would fix it nicely. I chrome stip to cover the join would suffice. It does not have to be show quality, just to stop the rust and look half good.
