Just looking at the price of grey motor vs red motor water pumps.  Does anyone know if there is any reason why you could not make up an adapter plate to allow a red motor pump to be bolted onto a grey?  Probably a stupid question, but then again so was can we put rotary valves on a grey motor Grin

I saw somewhere for sale an adaptor to fit a 308 V8 waterpump to a 351 Cleaveland, this conversion gave you more clearance between fan and radiator and a cheaper and far more superior pump.
