I don't know if you've heard of this indie flick, but the trailer is certainly worth a look.  It features the 4 Japanese surfers tooling around in (and on) an EK wagon.

There are some stills etc here if you haven't got cable to download the full trailer: http://www.bonditsunami.com.au

There's also a review of the movie from the Sydney Morning Herald, here.

cheers

Heard an interview of the film maker on Triple J a few weeks ago. I was impressed that the stars are actually driving the EK around the country showing the film in town halls. A great publicity stunt and a great adventure. Apparently the film and car are rapidly approaching cult status and are attracting quite a bit of attention as they travel around. All good for promoting old Holdens (and their owners??) as cool among the young and hip. Check out the car on the website and give them a wave if you see them in your neck of the woods.  The film even sounds interesting enough I might go and see it.
