Today was a bad day.  I was taking my baby (58 fc sedan) on a cruise down to the gold coast and without me knowing it dropped a fan belt.  The first I knew of it was the engine stopping as I was doing 60mph down the highway.  Looks like i cooked it ;'( I had a spare fan belt in the boot but after fitting it couldt encourage it to start up again.

So $220 later (the tow home) I have my old girl sitting in the back yard out of action.

This is not all bad though.  Today marks the first day of the start of restoration.  I have plans for a standard lookin car with the normal 2 tone paint dropped down low.  I will be fitting a red motor and disc brake front end.  As well as a floor shift gear box.  I plan to stay with the bench seat and will probably have widened standard wheels to fit the new front end.

Smiley G Day Sorry to hear about the old grey I dont think you will get any response from your woman regarding the red motor although I might suspect you'll never hear the end of it if you take out the bench seat.
