any one have any ideas on rubber edging for spats,
as i have a pair and one is missing.

also can someone  tell me why some  emblems
such as bonnet or horn are blue or gold. im guessing
age of vehicle has something to do with it

     cheers Scott

Can't help you with the spats question - never had 'em, don't like 'em.

The question about badge colouring has less to do with age and more to do with time spent in the sun.  The blue colour is simply the first to fade out of the horn/bonnet button, revealing the gold colour and silver vacuum-metallizing underneath.  Given enough UV exposure (ie years and years) the red and gold will both eventually disappear.

cheers

Thanks

   RET, ACE, Graham & Alex.

Thought you might suggest clarkes, but thought
     i would ask anyway.
I only want to make them complete before i moved
them on, wont fit due to my wide wheels.

So i guess what you are saying RET is the emblems
all started out blue centred. can someone suggest
      a shade of blue.

     Cheers Scott
