what is the correct hood ornament for a FC ute? Does it rely on the production date? Or the specs of the car.. special or other...

Utes typically did not have any bonnet mascot.  For that matter, it was an option on all bodystyles, unless the dealer fitted it for some reason.  In any case, there is only one mascot for FEs and one for FCs.  Part numbers and images of them can be found here: h

(the FC is the lower image, the FE one butts up to the FE bonnet badge).  Check out our club cars, you'll find a few pictures of vehicles with the bonnet mascots.
