Here is a pic from the Holden publication "Holden Lion". The caption reads, "Former aircraft runways at Fishermans Bend provided a ready-made surface for motor racing in the 1950s. Before Sandown and Calder, Fishermans Bend was the main centre of Melbourne motor sport".
Unfortunately I can only see 1 FE though....



and it's hidden slightly....:-/
