Can anyone tell me, if I need to cut my firewall to fit triple stromberg cd 150's on a factory HOLDEN stomberg manifold ( XU1 ), on a 202 Red motor mounted on a HR front end Huh?

The reason I ask, is that I have the shell completely stripped ( including sub frame off ), and was hoping to avoid the refitting of the sub frame, the front end, the motor and the carbs, just to see if the rear carb hits the firewall or not, only to have to take it all back off again to paint !

Any pics of a similar rebuild would be appreciated !

I know when fitting triples, you usually have to cut into the firewall, but I've never seen an FC with triples on a Xu1 HOLDEN manifold, only seen cain or redline manifolds, and sometimes the manifold design makes the difference !

Cheers
